Kimono Experience Q&A
1. How many people can use it at the same time?
We provide dressing services for one person at a time. For two or more guests, please either schedule separate appointments or wait inside the store.
2. Can men, children, and larger individuals use it?
Men: Approximately 155 cm to 185 cm Women: Approximately 140 cm to 175 cm ※ We currently do not have kimono for small children. Sizing varies by body type, so we ask for your height and weight in advance for confirmation. If you have concerns, please consult with us.
3. Is it okay to eat?
It is possible, but please be aware that if food spills or stains occur on the kimono, cleaning fees will apply. Therefore, it would be best to stick to light snacks.
4. Can I still experience kimono dressing on rainy days?
It is possible. To prevent mud splashes during your stroll, we may apply waterproof spray or adjust the hem of your kimono slightly higher.
5. Is it okay to wear the same underwear as usual?
We will provide the nagajuban and hadajuban, so please come wearing your regular undergarments.
6. Do you offer makeup and hair styling services?
We do not offer makeup services. Hair styling is available at an additional charge, including simple hair arrangements and the loan of hair accessories. You may also style your hair yourself on-site.
7. How should I prepare for cold weather?
Wear thermal undergarments designed to be invisible under kimono. Leggings and spats are also effective.
8. Can I participate while on my period?
Yes, it is possible. Please bring larger sanitary napkins or extra menstrual products. We will adjust the kimono loosely and accommodate you by taking breaks as needed.
9. What should I do if I stain or tear my kimono?
If you notice any stains or damage, please do not attempt to clean or repair them yourself. Contact us immediately. Depending on the extent of the stain or tear, cleaning or repair fees may apply.
10. What items are included in the rental set?
We provide kimono, obi sashes, nagajuban underkimonos, hadajuban undergarments, tabi socks, zori sandals, bags, and accessories, so please come empty-handed. If you wish to do your own makeup and hair styling, please bring your own tools. *Zori sandals are available in sizes S, M, L, and LL, but you may also bring your own comfortable shoes. If you have any other accessories you wish to wear, you are welcome to use them.
11. Can you store my luggage?
If you wish to take a stroll, we will store your belongings inside the store.
12. How many types of kimono are there?
We currently have approximately 60 women’s kimonos and 10 men’s kimonos available. We plan to gradually expand our lineup, so we’ll announce new kimono arrivals on Instagram.
